Version-aware biome rendering
Every map run starts with an explicit Minecraft Java Edition version. The version selector is searchable and grouped by game generation era, helping you avoid accidental mismatches.
Tiles are generated at the selected version's surface rules, so colors and biome names reflect the selected world-generation model.
Practical overlays
Spawn, villages, ocean monuments, jungle temples, desert temples, witch huts, slime chunks, and End portal locations can be toggled independently. Hover any point for coordinates, chunk coordinates, and biome information.
The map keeps controls close at hand while allowing the terrain to remain the visual focus.
Built for the web's fast path
Web Workers prevent generator work from blocking input. Image tiles are cached locally, assets are hashed and compressed at build time, and static hosting keeps the initial page small.
The result is a tool that opens quickly on a new device and remains responsive while you explore.
A focused workflow for every seed
Open a seed, select the version you will use in Minecraft, and begin with the terrain around spawn. From there, enable only the layers needed for your current question. You can investigate a village route, confirm a slime chunk, or locate a build biome without turning the map into an unreadable wall of markers.
Because the mapper is designed around direct controls and a shareable view, it works equally well for a quick check before a new world and for a longer planning session. The same simple workflow carries from desktop to phone without requiring a separate account or setup step.
